Do you know what your credit score is?

If not, you should.

Here’s why:

“Eighty-two percent of all lenders only look at a FICO scores to tabulate an interest rate that you will qualify for.”

So if you don’t even know where you stand, you won’t know if you’re getting the best deal.

“Repairing credit scores starts with paying off credit cards, starting with the one with the highest interest rate, Orman said.

“Keep
paying the minimum on all the rest,” Orman said. “As you keep doing
that, you roll it down and roll it down and guess what? Before you know
it, you’ll be out of credit card debt.”
